Boarding and the first stretch near the dam are the social part of the day. Once boats spread into the canyon, the walls swallow the traffic — and the far reaches that the longer boat tour visits are routinely near-empty even in August. The busiest thing you will queue for is the boarding photo point.
Two choices that buy you space
