Getting to the Green Canyon from Side, Alanya, Belek & Antalya

From the Side–Manavgat coast — every day

This is the canyon's home coast, with daily departures all season. Manavgat town is about 20 km from the boarding area (roughly 35 minutes free-flow); Side about 26 km (40 min); Sorgun and Titreyengöl about 25 km; Kumköy 27 km and Çolaklı 32 km. Kızılağaç, Gündoğdu, Kızılot and Çenger ride the same departures. If you stay anywhere on this strip, the canyon is a comfortable half-day-plus outing rather than an expedition.

From Alanya — every day in season

Alanya is the long ride on the daily list: about 73 km from the centre and 84 km from Mahmutlar, meaning roughly 75–85 minutes each way before the collection loop is counted. Okurcalar (45 km) and Avsallar (50 km) sit halfway. It is honestly a full day out of an Alanya holiday — what the distance buys is still fresh water in a mountain canyon, which that coastline cannot offer.

From Belek and Antalya — Mondays and Thursdays

Pickups from Belek (about 62 km, ~70 minutes) and from Antalya city, Lara and Kundu (81–92 km, about 95 minutes) run twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. That schedule is the real planning constraint: choose the date first, then build the rest of the week around it. If neither day fits, the trip does not fit from these resorts that week — we would rather say so than sell a departure that does not exist.

How the pickup itself works

One coach works a set route through your resort, hotel by hotel. Your exact pickup time therefore depends on your place in that route — which is only fixed once the day's bookings are in. That is why the time is confirmed the day before, and why nobody can honestly promise you a fixed minute weeks in advance. Hotels collected first wait a little at the jetty; hotels collected last leave later. Neither is a mistake; it is how every shared transfer on this coast genuinely operates.

Driving yourself?

Guests with a rental car can reach the Oymapınar area via the road that follows the Manavgat river inland — the dam is signposted from Manavgat. If you plan to skip the coach, mention it in the booking note so the team expects you at the boarding area rather than at a hotel door.
